Year of Memories

A year of memories

A whole year of celebrating someone you love.

Instead of one more gift that's unwrapped and forgotten, the people who love them fill a big year — a wedding, a new baby, a milestone, a long stretch apart — with memories, one week at a time: a note, a photo, a gift, a call.

The idea

How it works

1

Claim a week

Friends and family each pick a week of their year — we keep them evenly spread so the whole year fills.

2

We remind you

A nudge the week before and the week of, so your note, gift, or call lands right on time.

3

They feel loved — all year

Each week a new memory arrives on their private wall. By year's end, it's a keepsake of every moment.

What you get

More than a gift — a living keepsake

💛

A living wall

Each week a new memory appears on the couple's private wall — a note, a photo, a video, a call. It fills up all year.

Our story

How it started — Annie & Isaiah

Year of Memories began with two people: Annie & Isaiah. When they married, their family didn't want to hand them one more thing to unwrap and forget. So we built them a year instead.

Fifty-two memories — one a week — from the people who loved them. A note here. A favorite memory there. Dinner on us one week, a video call the next. Small things, arriving steadily, all the way to their first anniversary.

By the end of that year, Annie & Isaiah had been celebrated fifty-two times over — and we realized every couple deserves that. That's how Year of Memories was born.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What is Year of Memories?

Year of Memories is a free way for friends and family to fill someone's big year — like a couple's first year of marriage — with weekly memories. Each person claims a week and sends a time-released note, photo, gift, or call. The memories appear on a private wall all year and become a keepsake book at the end.

How much does it cost?

It's free for the couple or person being celebrated. Anyone can claim a week and contribute a memory at no cost.

I was invited but I don't have a link — how do I join?

You don't need the original link. Go to "My celebrations" and look yourself up with the same email or phone number you were invited with, and you'll find the celebration and any weeks still open to claim.

What occasions does it work for?

Weddings first — celebrating the first year of marriage week by week. It also fits new parents, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, and long stretches apart like military service or school abroad.

Is it private?

Yes. Each celebration's wall is private to the people who were invited. Memories are time-released, so they arrive steadily across the year rather than all at once.

Spread the love

Know someone with a big year ahead?

It's free for them — and the kind of gift people remember. Send it their way.
